Cornelia Kruger, your guide and the owner of Sea Horse Eco Safaris, is working with horses for many years and offers various rides for all levels of experiences, no matter if you are an absolute beginner or professional or you would like to go for a ride with the whole family. Everyone is welcome and could choose, referring to his experiences, between different rides.

The horseback safaris start near the coastal town of Vleesbaai, approximately 30 minutes drive from Avenues Guesthouse. You will be guided in small groups with a maximum of four people, which allows the possibility to enjoy your ride in a very comfortable and personal atmosphere. And it also guarantees that each person receives an individual assistance. A special fact about the beautiful and well trained horses is that they are ridden bitless and barefoot. Cornelia's very friendly and enthusiastic manner makes a contribution to a great ride and she explains many interesting facts about the fascinating South African flora. And maybe you are lucky to see same whales or dolphins from the dunes.

You could choose between different tours which offers you the possibility to find the ride that fits perfectly to you. Beginners could enjoy the amazing landscape on a two hours ride through coastal thicket and open fields. And from the top off the beautiful mobile dunes you have got a gorgeous view over the sea. Advanced riders could book one of the extended tours between 2,5 hours up to 5 hours. For these rides you need to be able to trot and canter. And of course these tours also guide you through the impressive beauty of the South African fynbos.
