A very special attraction is now available at Zorgfontein Eco & Wildlife Reserve, about 20 minutes drive from Avenues Guesthouse: Hiking with free roaming lions!
The lions got carefully used to human beings, so that you can get insight into their behaviour – without fences, leashes or collars. And during the walk you will get useful information about Africa’s most majestic predator from the guides of Zorgfontein.

The catwalks will take up to 1 ½ hours and are available twice a day (early mornings and late afternoons), for up to 8 guests each walk. Children are welcome from 10 years or from a body height of 1,50 m.
The walk is an easy stroll, also suitable for elderly people. The distance is not the main aim – it is the view of the lions and how they interact and play. Bookings are essential!
