The impressive Southern Right Whales are back again in Mossel Bay! The females, up to 18 metres long and up to 80 tons heavy, come back into protected bays to give birth to a round about 5 to 6 metres long and 100 to 1500 kilogram heavy calf. The calf grows up to 3 centimetres per day and will be suckled up to 6 month.
